IMC (Inter-Ministerial Committee) responsibal for preprations of 2010 FIFA worldcup has said that things are gooing smoothly for South Africa Football World Cup 2010.
“The IMC is satisfied with the preparations for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. All the bricks and mortar are in now in place,” said the chair of the IMC, Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe.
He said the committee was satisfied with all the reports submitted to them. These included reports on the management and training of protocol officials who will be involved in the management of guests and Heads of States attending the tournament.
“Most significantly, the meeting welcomed the report that all stadiums have been completed on time. This means no spectator will sit on wet cement come June 11 kick off,” said Motlanthe.
A book entitled “My Country “has also been published and will be distributed to communities and schools as part of an education drive to educate people about the country’s national symbols.

Fifa Fooball World Cup's 4th ticket sales phase starts on 9 February
4th tickets sales purchase will start by 9th February 2010 at 12:00 CET. Fourth sales is one of the last changes of buying tickets for fifa world cup 2010 in South Africa, this sale will continue for 58 days till 7th April 2010. Tickets are subject to availability and will be served on first come first serve basis. The 3rd sales phase has been concluded on 5th February 2010. FIFA ticketing sales department has ensured that maximum numbers of tickets are available for fans by a random selection draw. Total of 1,206,865 tickets are available in 192 countries. More than 70% of the tickets has been allocated to residents of South Africa the host nation. Other than South Africa, United States is the country who took highest number of tickets and number is 35,262 tickets followed by United Kingdom, Mexico, Australia, Germany, Brazil.
